Scholars & Fellows
The Senate Hispanic Research Council is dedicated to strengthening the next generation of young leaders with our enriching Scholars and Fellows program. Participants in the Senator Gregory Luna Legislative Scholars and Fellows Program gain invaluable experience and exposure to the Texas Senate as full-time legislative aides during a Texas Legislative Session.

This unique and enriching fellowship program is named after the late Texas Senator Gregory Luna, who represented Bexar County in the Texas Legislature from 1985-1999, was a one time chair of the Senate Hispanic Caucus, and served as a champion of the people who strove to dissolve barriers for Texas’ less fortunate citizens.
